Race Report: Christian Elkin – North West 200, 2025

Christian Elkin Racing

The legendary North West 200 returned in 2025 with all the speed, tension, and drama fans expect from one of the world’s fastest road races — and Christian Elkin once again delivered a performance packed with grit, experience, and pace across both the Supertwin and Super Sport classes.

Supertwin Class – RB Woolwich Racing Kawasaki

Christian lined up in the Supertwin class aboard the RB Woolwich Racing Kawasaki, carrying solid momentum from his 2024 podiums. From the moment the lights went out, Elkin was in the thick of the action. Battling among the front-runners through the high-speed straights and tight corners of the Triangle circuit, Christian held his own in a fiercely competitive field.

Despite tricky conditions and a red-flagged restart, he showed his trademark racecraft and tenacity to bring the Kawasaki home in 8th place — but a clear statement of intent. It was a hard-fought finish that reflected both rider skill and the technical strength of the team’s preparation.

Super Sport Class – Dynocentre NI Yamaha

Switching to the Dynocentre NI Yamaha, Christian competed in one of the weekend’s most hotly contested classes. With lap times tight across the board, Elkin stayed composed and consistent, however he was forced to withdraw with a rear puncture.

Reflections on the Weekend

Speaking after the race, Christian shared:

“It’s always a privilege to race the North West 200 — the atmosphere, the fans, the history, it’s all incredible. I would’ve liked to be back on the podium this year, but we gave it everything. The bikes felt great, and the team did a brilliant job all week. We’re leaving here proud and motivated for what’s next.”

Thanks to the Team and Sponsors

Christian and his team would like to thank RB Woolwich Racing, Dynocentre NI, and all supporting sponsors for their ongoing belief and commitment. The 2025 NW200 may be in the books, but the road racing season is far from over — and Christian Elkin remains a name to watch.
